The acquisition strengthens Hoozu’s leading market position as a full service influencer marketing, technology and social media business.
Headed by industry specialist Natalie Giddings, The Remarkables Group was founded in 2012 and works directly with leading brands such as Bunnings, Woolworths, Tommee Tippee and Xero.
Natalie will be joining Hoozu as joint CEO, and running the Sydney and Melbourne influencer agency, Mr Ruff will focus on strategic growth and major partnership opportunities.
“This is a very exciting step for our business and it’s future”, said Mr Ruff. “We are honoured to be able to bring in someone with the amazing pedigree of Natalie and her team, they will be critical in driving Hoozu through the next key stages of our growth.”
Both our agencies have always understood that to stand still in this space means you get left behind,” said Mr Ruff. “This is a client-driven transaction as they look for agencies that have an inherent understanding of brands along with technology and how to get the best return of investment on campaigns.”
Ms Giddings said both TRG and Hoozu shared a common outlook while bringing specific skill sets.
“Both of us have seen significant growth in our businesses in recent years. Yet the needs of our clients are changing. Marketers need influencer experts and an agency with capabilities and depth in digital, data and technology to drive growth for their brands.
Hoozu will very much be about offering brands innovation in influencer marketing,” she said.
The agency will now operate out of offices in Sydney and Melbourne in servicing national and international clients.
